When her son disappears on a dangerous boat journey from Bangladesh to Malaysia, Amena refuses to give up hope.

Years later, she is still searching. With the help of Abdus, a survivor of the same trafficking route, she follows new clues that might finally reveal her son’s fate.

Set against the haunting landscapes of coastal Bangladesh, Ghost Boat is an intimate portrait of a mother’s relentless search and the devastating human cost of maritime trafficking.
